The Moon (XVIII) is the eighteenth trump or Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks.

This was made for the Steam Punk Tarot Card Challenge--Revisited, hosted by ManipulateThis.

This is my second entry. The first was, The Moon [Steampunk Tarot] [A].

Theme: Steam Punk Tarot With Moon

Due Date: April 30, 2017

Skill Level: 2, Novice.

Guidelines:

 Create a Steam Punk design Tarot card.

 Use one of the Steam Punk theme Borders under REQUIRED STOCK below.

 You must use the face from the 2010-Star stock under REQUIRED STOCK below.

 You must turn the star face white to make it look like a moon face.

 Your design must be 780 x 1280 pixels OR 1050 x 1500 pixels.

 You must include the name of the Tarot card at the bottom, and number at the top.

 Choose a font that looks like Steam Punk or looks good with that style.

Notes:

The The Moon card depicts a night scene.

Two large pillars are shown, with two animals, representing different energies: id/ego, canine/feline, yin/ yang, calling at the moon.

The Moon sheds rays of light and dew.

According to Waite's The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, "The card represents being guided by imagination, dreams, and spirit…”

Castellar is patterned after carved letters on a Roman column dedicated to Augustus.

Castellar was designed by John Peters for Monotype in 1957, and named after a town in the Alps. Castellar is at its best when used for sophisticated, refined display work.
