Phoenix Crew (Colour)

Pheonix Crew Line Art, by DestinyBlue  (June 15, 2006)

Thanks to DestinyBlue  for posting this Line Art. It’s always fun and interesting colouring her line art.

DestinyBlue’s Coloured Version of her Pheonix Crew (February 9, 2007) is astounding, as always.

And, thanks for the notes:

DestinyBlue wrote (in the description of the coloured version, Pheonix Crew):

“A lot of people asked who these characters were… 'Phoenix Crew', rising from the ashes and all that ;)

…Are my old characters! Ones I had long forgotten about…

Trinity and Destiny [Top and Bottom Right] were the first characters I ever created.

I remember watching digimon and thinking, 'Oh, I'll make my own characters' (Check out the originals link)

Jy [Middle] was an old design I am still very fond of... probably one of my best designs!

Listening to:
The Doctor: The Phoenix (YouTube Fan video, with the Fall Out Boy song. There was a version with scenes from “The Day of The Doctor” that was also a lot of fun; but, it seems to have disappeared.

And, Cé Hé Mise Le Ulaingt [ The Two Tree] (YouTube, interesting video set to the song by Loreena McKennitt, from The Mask and the Mirror, Available on iTunes, The Mask and the Mirror (1994).

Based on the poem, by W.B. Yeats, The Two Trees (The Poetry Archive)-

“Gaze no more in the bitter glass…

The glass of outer weariness…

Gaze no more in the bitter glass.”

"The Two Trees" , from The Rose. W.B. Yeats. 1893.

As the saying goes, there are two seasons in Canada: too hot & too cold.  Remember, Winter is coming…

Update: A draft was originally submitted, instead of the finished version. Oy!

Take Care. Stay Frosty.
