This is a combination of all the drawings by Grey for Mecha and backgrounds, from WhiteTigerForever's A Special Christmas Present CONTEST!, inspiration folder.
This is for A special Christmas present - Contest, hosted by Wesley-Souza
Looks like the Mecha pilots are breaking camp, under the tree on the old castle grounds.

Grey's Mecha break camp.
The sun is up. Breakfast is finished.
The pilots drench the cook fire, making sure it's out.
Then, the crew pack up, stow their kit, and check their gear, before setting back out.
The autonomous remotes are already off patrolling the perimeter.
It's time for the last leg of their rounds.
Then, back to Base.

There have been some modifications in the field to the Mecha:
On the MAU Mark II, the new translucent canopy, with heads-up display,
allows the pilot to see out, as well as climb in and out.
And, the centre cannon has been swapped out for a short range rocket launcher.
On the MAU Mark IV, a new, clear cockpit canopy has also been added.
And, the centre cannon has been changed to an energy concentrator.
