Déjà Vu: The Phoenix Project

This was made for The Do It Again Group Activity!, hosted by ManipulateThis

Theme: Redo an old photomanipulation

Due Date: September 24^th, 2017

Skill Level: Noviciate, Level 2, Beginner

I wanted to revisit The Phoenix Project harbour, earlier in the morning, when there would be a change of light and fewer people around.

Visiting the shipyards, where the Mecha Walkers were being repaired changed the perspective, with the machines in the foreground; and, the biospheres on the other side of the harbour, still cloaked in the morning fog.

Memo:

This revisits the crew of The Phoenix Project: Terra 3k c.e.. When we saw them before, they were working on repairing the Intake Valve on the Desalinization plant, for the drinking water, for the all the biospheres.

This time, the Captain is having the Chief repair the Inlet Manifolds on the Wild Walkers, used for reconnaissance in the abandoned urban centres.

The machines are necessary to protect the crews from the residue toxins and radiation left over from when the factories’ and nuclear power plants’ cooling systems failed.

The crew from The Phoenix Project has been seen before in Terra: 3K CE, Terra 3k: A Mutant Pear, Terra 3k: Early Morning Recce, Terra 3k: A Mutant Pear, and Terra 3rd Millennium: Urban Recce.

And, I wonder if the Captain had to make an emergency landing in Captain Pi. If so, apparently they were rescued before the tiger, sharing the dingy, lost a taste for emergency soy protein packets.

Ironically, The Phoenix Project and crew first came to my attention, when working on something for The Survival Road Contest!, sponsored by ManipulateThis and
Stewed-Tomatoes.

Their vehicles made of biopolymers and run on fuel cells and biodiesel didn’t meet the requirements for Mad Max vehicles, required in the contest.

On the other hand, The Phoenix Project has some possibility of helping humanity survive into the next millennia;

While for the remnants of humanity, scrounging for survival in the world of Mad Max, often seem unlikely to make it to the end of the day [or, movie].

It seems like the crew will have to venture into the wilds to scrounge for some supplies, they can't render themselves.

That will be interesting.
