Memo:
I knew that Cassie was researching Companion Planting, specifically The “Three Sisters”, from Native American; and, Cassie’s Aunt Carol, as a Doctor incorporated Native Healing Practices, along with Naturopathic Medicine.
But, it was only after getting to know them better that I learned that that they had lost contact with their Native roots, through the Residential Schools and The 60’s Scoop, like some people I’ve known.

Every season has its challenges; but, it’s ironic, after the long, cold winter, how hard it is sometimes to breath in the spring.
The Swallows have returned. They make me wonder if their relatives, the way it sounds like they’re wheezing, when they sing.
